Seamless Gutters

Over 75 % installed gutters in the USA are seamless, so-called continuous rain gutters. They are produced by special machine with no seams, which usually effect leak or erosion on the sectional gutters. Connections of the seamless gutters are done only on the inside and outside corners, downspout outlets.

Seamless gutters come in a range of materials. There are copper, galvanized steel, aluminum. They may be finished by aluminum and also may be painted in many colors, which work well with the color of the house. Seamless gutters have a custom length.

Seamless gutters should better be fabrics and installed by professionals. But it may be DIY project. Portable machines for the production of the seamless gutters are available in the stores. For the installation several tools and seamless gutter machine (cost is near 20.000 $) are needed.

Choosing the contractor company, check more than one company. Companies have to give the warranty on their products. Lifetime warranty is preferable (20 years is a minimum). Labor job also should be covered by at least 1 year warranty.

When choice is done, it`s time to visit the contractor in person. He should show some samples, pictures or video, addresses of the houses with finished work and give a few references.

Before the installation the professional have to estimate the cost of the project. The cost depend from the numerous factors as design of the homes` façade, the type of the roof, the number and  type of corners on the house and many others. Some of the houses may need first repair project. Rotting parts should be replaced. Estimator will point what part has to be redone. Check the estimated bill, if reconstruction project is included in the price.
